Welcome to Our e-Learning Site

What you see here is what a student sees when s/he arrives at the learning site.

The screen has three general areas: a column on the left, another column on the right, and an area in the middle (containing this text).  The training material always appears here in this middle area.  The columns on either side are for displaying "blocks" containing various navigation menus and other information about the program and how it works.  Either or both of these columns can be hidden, if desired, in order to provide more room for the training material.

In the box at the upper left is a list of courses available on this site.  Further details are given below.  Click on any title to try it out.  When asked to log in, do so as Guest.  Don't worry about clicking in the wrong places -- you won't do any harm!   If you get lost, you can always return to this page by clicking on the home icon at the left end of the menu bar.

Please remember that these courses are provided only and exclusively for the purposes of demonstrating the capacities of VLE technology.  We take no responsibility for the content of any course!

Finally, in case you are curious to know what languages we can support on this site, the answer is: the six official UN languages (English, French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, and Mandarin), as well as Swahili, Urdu, Bahasa, Thai, Vietnamese, and other languages.

This website is powered by open-source software called Moodle.  Moodle has its own website at www.moodle.org.  For more information about the courses we can create in Moodle, click here to download a summary of selected features
